INTRODUCTION The Housatonic Valley Council of Elected Officials is a regional planning organization created by local ordinances in 1968. It is composed of the mayors and first selectmen of the ten municipalities in the Greater Danbury Area. The Council believes that the development of a casino anywhere in Greater Danbury would be very detrimental to the quality of life in our area. The Council is working to stop casino development. The resources below are being shared as part of the effort to win the fight. HVCEO
