Management

IM:instantAds executives have in-depth business and management experience in areas including telecommunications, E-911 Location technology, public safety communications interoperability technology, and enterprise software technology. IMI is a spin-off company affiliated with Travel Sciences, Inc., which is a major enterprise systems provider for the travel industry, including cruise lines, tour operators, government travel bureaus, and retail travel distribution entities.

Key Profiles

Joe Mazzarella, President & CEO

Mr. Mazzarella holds a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law, and a Bachelors of Science in chemistry from Hobart College. Mr. Mazzarella is also the former President of Connecticut Telephone, and has served as a director and advisor to several high technology companies, including wireless location, interoperable communications and software companies. Mr. Mazzarella’s early career includes the private legal practice in the areas of corporate, banking and regulatory law with the firm of Cummings and Lockwood, Stamford, Connecticut, and includes experience with mergers and acquisitions, bank lending, securities syndication, and telecommunications. He is also the author of several patents pending in the area of fuel cell energy production management, database extensible contextual object development environments, and application interfaces for instant messaging environments. Mr. Mazzarella has been published in the area of telecommunications and has been an industry speaker.

Dr. Lu Ji, Lead Engineer

Dr. Ji holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from UMass at Amherst. Dr. Ji performed his doctoral research in the area of underwater sound wave propagation and optimization. After receiving his Doctorate, he was a lead scientist at EMC Corporation and TransDecisions, Inc. where he worked on optimization for enterprise logistics and transportation routing. Before joining IMI, Dr. Ji, was employed by Network Dynamics, Inc. as lead software engineer in the development of rapid modeling systems.

Dr. C.J. Mei, Lead Engineer

Dr. Mei holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Max Planck Institute, Stuttgart, Germany. Dr. Mei’s background includes predictive modeling for biomedical research at the University of Florida, and developing air routing and management systems.

William Miller, Lead Engineer

Mr. Miller has over 25 years of programming experience, with emphasis in the area of industrial CAD systems, and VOIP based interoperable maritime communications systems.
